We all have our Motorcycle Learners Permits now. Reason: To drive a Rickshaw in India you need an International Drivers Permit (IDP) with a Category A stamp. Category A is essentially a motorcycle license, and it is important we have the correct IDP for Insurance reasons. While we are all confident of coming through this adventure unscathed it would be reckless not to have insurance that covers us!!
In July we will all sit for our Provisional Motorcycle license test – this is what we need for the IDP to be stamped Category A. This test is involves 8 hours of practical and theory – including real riding amongst real traffic. Should be fun!!
