Pete, most hotels have a secure garage where we can lock the Rickshaw up, or at minimum a security guard. Comfort no issue – all good! We had a few days when in Gorakphur/Faizabad where we di nor see any other Runners, but have started to see others again.

hi again guys, almost in Rajasthan, great stuff .. a few more questions .. presume the cushions helping, but how comfortable has it been riding the rickshaw all day ? how much of the other runners have you seen ? and how has security been with the rickshaw – do you have to chain it to the hotel railings overnight ?!! wishing you continued good luck and no more 1400 rupee deals !

Day 8 was certainly interesting. Paul referring to the woman as ‘love’ is hilarious. What a pity Andrew did not speak some Hindi – maybe a few words would have pacified the shop keeper.
